Delhi Police Recruitment 2025: Tomorrow is the last date to apply for the 2025 Constable Driver (Male)/Head Constable Recruitment 2025 for Delhi Police. This recruitment process includes 737 Constable Driver vacancies and 552 Head Constable (Assistant Wireless Operator/Teleprinter Operator) vacancies. The application fee must be paid by 11 pm on October 16th. After this, there will be an opportunity to correct errors and amend fees from October 23rd to 25th.
The first stage of the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for this recruitment is expected to be held in December 2025 or January 2026. Online applications are to be made through the SSC website, ssc.gov.in. The application fee is ₹100. Applications are free for women and SC/ST candidates of all categories.
This exam will have negative marking.
This year, there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks in the written examination for the Head Constable recruitment. There was no negative marking in the 2022 recruitment examination.
Highlights of Constable Driver Recruitment
The eligibility for Constable Driver recruitment is 12th pass. A heavy vehicle driving license is also required.
The age limit for this recruitment is 18 to 30 years. OBC candidates will receive a three-year age relaxation, while SC/ST candidates will receive a five-year age relaxation.
Eligibility for Head Constable Recruitment
Must have passed 12th grade with a Science stream (PCM).
Must have a National Trade Certificate in Mechanic cum Operator Electronic Communication Systems. Must be proficient in computer operations.
The age limit is 18 to 27 years. OBC and ex-servicemen will receive a three-year age relaxation, and SC/ST candidates will receive a five-year age relaxation.
Selection Process
Candidates for both recruitments will be selected after a written examination, physical test, document verification, and medical examination.
