Who can benefit from the scheme?
Candidates applying for free training must be natives of Uttarakhand or be studying or working in an educational institution in the state.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have passed the high school examination with at least 45% marks.
A minimum of 33% marks in each subject is required.
The minimum age for training is 16 years.
Chief Minister Dhami said that in recognition of Uttarakhand's proud military tradition, the government is taking this initiative to enable the state's youth to contribute to the military under the Agniveer scheme.
