Actors Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi recently enjoyed a family trip to Pune, accompanied by their two sons and future daughter-in-law Yogita Bihani. The family explored several of the city’s popular eateries, sharing anecdotes that ranged from funny to nostalgic. Among these, Parmeet recounted an incident from the early days of his relationship with Archana, revealing how he once confronted a man bothering her at a bar.
A Story from the Past
During a visit to Budhwar Peth, the family decided to try Misal with bread instead of the usual Pav. It was here that Parmeet, known for his love of “dad jokes,” recounted a story from the early days of his relationship with Archana.
Aaryamann, curious, asked, “Dad, how do you know that fights generally occur in bars?”
With a smirk, Parmeet replied, “Beta, ek toh maine teri maa ke liye ki thi. (Son, one of those fights I fought for your mother.)”
Archana confirmed the incident, explaining that it occurred during their trip to Africa when they had just started dating. Parmeet continued, “Koi ek aadmi tang kar raha tha mummy ko (Some guy was bothering your mother), and I am talking about when we had just started dating. The best part is… Most women stop their partners from fighting, but she kept telling me, ‘Hit him more.’” Archana then hid her face in embarrassment as the rest of the family laughed.
Culinary Explorations in Pune
The family’s Pune trip also included a visit to the renowned German Bakery, where they sampled chocolate eclairs, lemon tarts, bun-maska, and spinach omelettes. Their culinary tour continued to Ferguson College Road, famous for its South Indian cuisine, where the family praised the quality of both the food and the service.
Apart from enjoying the city’s culinary delights, Archana has become increasingly popular on social media for her family vlogs.
